3D filming has come a long way from such classics as "Space Hunter - Adventures in the Forbidden Zone" and "Friday the 13th part 3", where the most exciting thing was the fishing rod, or indeed eyeball, popping out of the screen at you.
Not only is it the "In thing" for mass market films, it is also making huge inroads into day to day TV programming and business to business and business to consumer marketing.
